Reorganizing PDF Pages Without a Desktop Editor
What this tool does
A PDF is a fixed sequence of pages, and changing that sequence normally means opening a heavyweight desktop editor. This tool takes a different route: it renders every page of your PDF as a thumbnail so you can see the whole document at a glance, then lets you rebuild it into a new arrangement. Each thumbnail carries its own controls — move it earlier or later with the arrow buttons, turn it ninety degrees with rotate, or drop it entirely with delete. When the layout matches what you want, the file is reassembled from your edits into a fresh PDF.
Deleted pages are not thrown away immediately. They stay flagged behind the scenes, so a single Restore action brings every removed page back to the exact spot it left — and any reordering or rotation you did in the meantime survives untouched.
When to use it
Reach for it whenever a PDF arrives in the wrong shape. A scanner that fed pages sideways leaves you with a document you have to rotate; a report with a stray cover sheet or a duplicate page needs those removed; a set of merged files often lands with sections out of sequence. Instead of printing, rescanning, or re-exporting from the source, you fix the page order directly.
It also pairs well with splitting and merging: trim a long PDF down to the pages that matter before sharing, or straighten out the ordering after combining several documents into one.
A concrete example
Say a ten-page contract came back from a scanner with page 3 rotated sideways and a blank page 7 you never wanted. Open it, and all ten thumbnails appear. Tap rotate on page 3 until it stands upright, hit delete on page 7, and the counter updates to nine pages kept. Save, and the download is a clean nine-page contract with page 3 the right way up — the other pages keep their original position and orientation.
Notes and edge cases
Because pages are copied into the output rather than re-encoded, the text and images keep their original resolution; the thumbnails are only low-resolution previews and never affect the saved quality. Password-protected files are supported — enter the password once and the pages unlock for editing. Reordering uses per-page left and right arrows rather than free dragging, which keeps precise control on desktop and touch screens alike. Files up to 50MB are accepted, and deleting every page holds the document for restoring rather than producing an empty file.
